Baltic weekend, shallow and green

We drove north for a weekend and dived from shore. The forecast was calm, which is not always the case there. We planned two dives a day and kept both well within our limits.

The Baltic is often overlooked for photography, but the shallow water has its own scale. Small fish moved through the weed, and the light came down in soft bands. I used a single strobe and tried not to chase anything.

One frame came near the end, when the buddy pair ahead of me paused over a patch of sand. I waited until they moved on and took one photograph of the empty space they left.
